Airport & Rail Services

Whitsunday Transit operates a transfer service for passengers arriving at and departing from Whitsunday Coast Airport near Proserpine and Proserpine Railway Station. This means that regardless of the time of day or night, our buses or coaches will be there to meet passengers for every flight at Proserpine Airport and every train at Proserpine Railway Station.

Local Timetabled Services

You can also rely on Whitsunday Transit to transport you from Proserpine to Shute Harbour and anywhere in between. Local timetabled services run every 15 - 30 mins along Shute Harbour Road, terminating at Shute Harbour - the gateway to the beautiful Whitsunday Islands.

The low-floor buses permit unrestricted access for passengers. They feature a stepless passenger compartment, enabling those with mobility problems clear access to seating. Parents with young children in strollers can also bring children directly onto the bus without having to remove the child from the stroller.

School Services

Whitsunday Transit provides local school transport. It carries students to schools in Cannonvale & Proserpine, with 15 seperate school runs. Students eligible for free school bus travel are issued with bus passes by Whitsunday Transit through Queensland Transport.
